Fun Facts: Hazelnut is the nut of the hazel and therefore includes any of the nuts deriving from species of the genus Corylus, especially the nut of the species Corylus avellana.



  • 200 grams hazelnuts 

  • 2 dl white sugar

  • 1 msk (tbsp) potato flour

  • 2 eggs


Steps how to do it


  • Heat up the oven "varmluft"  or  "fan-assisted oven" to 175°C.

  • Put the hazelnuts in a blender machine to make it crushed (such as blender to make smoothie).

  • Transfer the crushed hazelnuts to a bowl,

  • Add the sugar, potato flour and the eggs and mix it well.

  • Prepare the "bakplåtspapper"  or  "baking paper/oven paper".

  • Take a piece of the dough and form it as a circle.

  • On the top of it, put one piece hazelnuts. 

  • Ready to put in the oven and bake for 8 minutes.

  • Serve: afternoon/evening tea
