Höstgryta med vin & ananas
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef meat
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 tbsp (msk) brown sugar
- 50 cl wine
- 2 tbsp (msk) butter
- 1 small can pineapple chunks
- 1 small leek (purjolök)
- 2 pcs. big carrots
- 2 beef broth cubes
- 5 pcs. bay leaf
- 2 tbsp (msk) cornflour (maizena)
- 1 tbsp (msk) soy sauce
- 1 tbsp (msk) salt
- 1 tbsp (msk) blackpepper
Steps how to do it
- Slice the meat in a cubes size.
- Boil the meat with the beef broth cubes for 30 mins or 1 hr to make it soft. Don't throw the boiled water after you removed the meat.(pot/casserole)
- Fry the meat, make it a little brown.
- Boil the the slice carrots (separate pot) for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Add the onion, sugar and fry them for 2 minutes.
- Add 5 or 8 dl water that you boiled together with the meat.
- Add carrots, leek (purjolök), pineapple, bay leaf and boil for 10 mins.
- Add corn flour (mix with water), soy sauce, salt and black pepper.
- Last: Boil again for 10 minutes.
- Serve: Rice or mashed potatoes
